Our journey through Egypt begins with a tour of the Giza Plateau, where Egypt's renowned Great Pyramids stand, celebrated by the ancient Greeks as one of the Seven Wonders of the ancient world. We explore the majestic Pyramids of Giza along with their sentinel, the Sphinx. Next, we head to Memphis, the first capital of the ancient kingdom, to view the statue of Ramses II, and then proceed to Sakkara to marvel at the Step Pyramid.

This morning, we transfer to Cairo Airport for an early flight to Luxor. Our tour begins on the West Bank of the Nile with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon, followed by an exploration of the ancient, dust-laden tombs in the renowned Valley of the Kings. We’ll also visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and admire the vibrant hieroglyphics at Medinet Habu Temple before returning to Luxor. The afternoon is yours to unwind on board your 5-star Nile cruise or explore the markets in Luxor. In the evening, we take a guided walk through the beautifully illuminated Luxor Temple.

This morning, seize the opportunity to experience a breathtaking sunrise hot air balloon ride over the West Bank of the Nile. Following breakfast, we’ll begin our exploration of Luxor with a visit to the vast Karnak Temple complex, home to towering columns, a range of temples, and numerous ancient structures—cementing Luxor’s fame as the world’s largest open-air museum! In the afternoon, our boat begins its journey up the Nile, passing through the Esna lock and continuing to Edfu, where we will anchor for the night.

After breakfast, we head to the nearby Edfu Temple, dedicated to the god Horus. We then journey upriver towards Kom Ombo, observing the traditional rural life of Egypt along the Nile’s banks. You may wish to unwind with a refreshing dip in the plunge pool on the boat's sun deck. At Kom Ombo, we explore the temple, which sits picturesquely by the river and houses mummified crocodiles, among other fascinating relics. The cruise then continues on to Aswan.

This morning, you have the option to visit the remarkable temples of Abu Simbel, built by Ramses II and recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Our early departure allows us to arrive in time to witness the sunrise over these awe-inspiring monuments. For those opting not to visit Abu Simbel, the morning will be at leisure.
Our sightseeing in Aswan includes a boat trip to the enchanting temple complex on Philae Island. This picturesque and historically rich site was entirely relocated due to the construction of the Aswan Dam. We will also visit the impressive Aswan High Dam, which was built to create Lake Nasser.

This morning, we depart for Aswan airport for our return flight to Cairo. Upon arrival, we begin our Cairo tour with a visit to the Egyptian Museum, renowned for its extensive collection of Egyptian antiquities. Accompanied by a certified Egyptologist, you’ll explore exhibits that showcase each era of this ancient civilisation. The afternoon is free for you to relax or join an optional half-day excursion to visit Cairo’s historic churches and synagogues in Coptic Cairo, see the Citadel with its panoramic views, and wander the narrow alleys of the Khan-el-Khalili bazaar. To end the day, an optional dinner cruise on the Nile is available this evening.
