Twobar Anemonefish in the Canyon, Dahab, Egypt
This combined course takes you from beginner to PADI Advanced Open Water Diver in the idyllic location of Dahab, on the Sinai Peninsula. Formerly a simple Bedouin settlement, Dahab is now a thriving mecca for divers from all over the world. Facing the Gulf of Aqaba, the diversity of marine life in the Red Sea is considered to be one of the world’s natural wonders. Its also a great place to learn to dive with shallow reefs and professional dive schools, and a relaxed atmosphere.

The Pyramids at GisaWe begin the tour in Cairo, where you are met at the airport and then transferred to your hotel. While in Cairo we include a tour to the pyramids, sphinx and the Egyptian Museum to give you a taste of the ancient history and splendour that Egypt enjoys.
From Cairo, we take the overnight coach to Dahab, where we’ll introduce you to the  PADI Instructors & Divemasters at the Dive Centre, who will handle your training and know the waters around Dahab well.

The Open Water Course is conducted over a 5-day period and, successful completion leads to full entry-level certification to the world of Scuba diving. The course itself is broken down into three sections. These are: (a) confined water dives, of which you do 3, and which are usually done in a cordoned off beach area or a pool close to the beach (b) the theory section, which provides basic information and principles about diving, usually with the aid of videos along with a manual (c) at least 2 Open Water dives under qualified supervision and guidance. The course is relaxed and designed to be a comprehensive learning experience to help you reach your first goal of becoming a qualified diver.

You then begin the Advanced Open Water Course. This course is conducted over a 3-day period, during which you will take 2 compulsory 'core' dives, plus 3 chosen optional Adventure Dives. Your Core dives will be a Deep Dive, and a Navigation Dive. Your optional 3 dives will be selected from the following: Boat Dive, Drift Dive, Wreck Dive, Night Dive, Underwater naturalist, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Search and Recovery. This course is designed to enhance your knowledge and awareness of recreational diving.

After the courses are complete, you have two free days in Dahab to either relax or treat yourself to a few extra dives. On your last night we transfer you to Cairo on the overnight coach. The next day you do a full day tour of the city of Cairo, visiting the Citadel, mosques, and the Khan-el-Khalili bazaar. In the evening we take you on a sunset felucca cruise on the Nile.

The tour ends the next morning, and we transfer you to Cairo airport for your departure. We can run the tour for you starting and finishing in Dahab if you prefer, missing our Cairo altogether.
