Advanced Open Water

• Day 1:
• Arrive in Sharm-el-Sheikh.

We meet you in Sharm-el-Sheikh airport and transfer you to your hotel in Dahab (approx 1&1/2 hours). An extension to the Pyramids, Sphinx and Museum in Cairo is available if you wish.

• Day 2:
• Dahab

We take you to the dive centre, Dahab Divers, this morning which is located in the Lighthouse area of Dahab where we will introduce you to the team there.They will give you a briefing of the Advanced Open water course and what will you be required to do before you start the course today.

• Day 3:
• Dahab

You continue today with the Advanced Open water Course which consists of 5 speciality dives. There are two speciality dives which are compulsory and then the other 3 can be chosen by yourself and your instructor. The two dives which must be completed for the course are the underwater navigation dive and a deep water dive.  

• Day 4:
• Dahab

Today will be the last day of the Advanced Open water course when you will do the remaining dives which have been chosen by yourself and your instructor. There is also a manual to accompany the course which you will need to read and also an exam to be successfully completed at the end.

• Day 5:
• Dahab

You may need to finish any theory or dives today but after this the rest of your time in Dahab is free. You can arrange to do some extra dives with the dive centre as you will now be an Advanced Diver you can dive more of the dive sites of Dahab such as the Bells and the Canyon which are 30 metre dives and can only be done by advanced divers.

• Day 6:
• Dahab

This will be your last day of diving if you chose to do some more dives as 24 hours must be allowed after your last dive before you fly or you may wish to just relax after the course.

• Day 7:
• Dahab

You have another free day today or you can try out some of the other activities and options available in Dahab, such as the Jeep Safari to the Coloured Canyon or a day tour to Petra in Jordan.

• Day 8:
• Dahab

Your time is free today until we transfer you to Sharm-el-Sheikh airport in time for your flight home.
