In order to provide a wide range of choice for our clients we have divided our tours into 3 Classes - Economy, Standard and Superior. A description of each level is given below and should be used as a guide to the general level of a tour and not just as a guide to the level of the accommodation provided. The nature of many of our tours is such that accommodation can be mixed, and limited in some locations simply by its availability, eg whilst on safari. We therefore use these catagories as a reflection of the tour as a whole, to cover the level of the accommodation, transport, meals, and added extras.

Economy
Our Economy tours are aimed at those who wish to travel on a budget. As with all of our tours they provide the highest level of service, and accommodation is based on 2 to 3-star hotels, usually with breakfast included. Some accommodation may be of a more basic level (eg. in the desert oases). We also include all transfers and provide fully trained egyptologist guides to take you around the sites of interest. We mainly use public transport like air-conditioned coaches and first class trains, and some private transport where necessary.

Standard
Our standard tours have been designed to provide a high level of service and comfort at affordable prices. They are ideal for families, groups and individuals who are looking for an active style of holiday but who don’t want to pay the higher prices of our superior tours. All these tour packages are based on 2 to 4-star hotel accommodation with a mix of private and public transport. Where public transport is used it is of the highest available quality, for example first class trains with reclining seats, and air-conditioned coaches. We also provide fully trained Egyptologist guides to act as your guide and tour leader throughout the tour.

Superior
These 5-star packages have been designed to offer you an excellent quality and service. They are aimed at those looking to enjoy the experience of travel, with all the luxury and comfort available. Each tour includes private A/C transport, internal flight options where applicable, all transfers, entrance fees to sites of interest, and fully qualified Egyptologist guides who will accompany you throughout the tour. On the rare occasions when we need to use public transport it is always of the best standard available (eg. overnight sleeper train). Accommodation is based on high quality hotels and is usually branded 5-star hotels (e.g. Meridien, Sheraton etc.).
