PYRAMISA ISIS HOTEL, LUXOR

Note: The following information is provided from our own visits & research, the hotel itself, and our clients' experience of using the hotel.
Introduction:
 The Pyramisa Isis is a modern resort style hotel complex and is the largest hotel in Luxor. It is set in 28 acres of landscaped gardens directly on the banks of the River Nile with views of the Nile and the West Bank. The resort has two large outdoor pools and a wide range of facilities including sporting activities, a choice of bars and restaurants and a shopping arcade. The central location and range of services make this our first choice hotel (together with the Novotel) for stays in Luxor on all our standard level small group tours, private departures and tailor-made trips.
Location:
The hotel is located in the centre of Luxor on the east bank of the Nile and is only a few minutes walk from Luxor temple and the main shopping areas of Luxor. The Luxor Museum is only 200 metres away and all the major tourist sites are within easy reach. Luxor International Airport is 10 kilometres (approx 20 minutes drive away) and the train station is only 2 kilometres away.
Accommodation:
 The hotel has six floors with 400 rooms and 55 suites which are decorated in light colours and bright fabrics. The rooms are modern and spacious and have either one king size or two twin beds and have a balcony or terrace with views of the city or gardens. Nile view rooms with views of the pools, Nile and West Bank are available on request for a small supplement. Each room has a private bathroom with shower and bathtub, air-conditioning, satellite TV, mini-fridge, telephone, electrical sockets and a hairdryer.
Bars & Restaurants:
 Within the hotel there are a number of bars and restaurants to choose from offering a variety of dining styles and different atmospheres. The main hotel restaurant which is located in the main building is the Lotus and is open for buffet style breakfast, lunch and dinner with a choice of international and local dishes. There is also an Italian restaurant, La Terraza serving pizza and Italian specialities and a Chinese restaurant, the Pink Panda which is open for dinner only. For light meals, snacks and refreshments during the day there is the Yashmak poolside coffee shop and in the evening there is the lounge bar which serves a selection of drinks, cocktails and snacks. You can enjoy a typical Egyptian evening in the Badea bar with views of the Nile and Egyptian music and the Abu Nawas cocktail bar is also a nightclub and is open until 02.00am.
Facilities & Services:
There are a number of facilities within the hotel including two large outdoor pools one of which is heated in the winter, table tennis, squash and tennis courts. There is a health and beauty centre with massage room, sauna, Turkish baths, hydrotherapy and a range of other beauty treatments. For children the resort has a separate children’s swimming pool, a children’s playground and also a kid’s club along with organised children’s activities.
