The deserts of Egypt and Jordan are amongst the most spectacular in the world. From vast sand seas to weird moonscapes, from prehistoric rock art to colourful Bedouin campsites, these unique environments make an ideal destination for the more adventurous traveller. Our desert safari tours may also include some cultural and historic sightseeing, but they concentrate on getting out into the desert and experiencing time in these beautiful but barren environments. Most tours include at least one memorable night camping under the stars, combined with more comfortable accommodation elsewhere.
This tour combines Egypt's main historical sites and a felucca or luxury cruise in the Nile Valley, with two separate desert safaris. We also enjoy a jeep safari into Western Deserts to visit the Baharya & Farafra Oases and spend a night camping under the starry desert sky amidst the weird rock formations in the White Desert.
