The perfect combination, one week fishing for the mighty predatory Nile Perch before moving on to take in one of the natural wonders of this world, relax and explore the Red Sea. First you will have seven days fishing on Lake Nasser with your own boat and guide for the perfect private fishing safari. Lake Nasser is a 360-mile long and 6-mile wide lake, that has virtually no commercial or private fishing pressure therefore the resident fish population has thrived. You will then get to experience some of the historic sights that Egypt has to offer. You will see the Pyramids, Sphinx, Museums, mighty Temples of Luxor, Karnak and the Valley of the Kings and Queens, all before moving to enjoy the beautiful Red Sea with it's clean perfect beaches, unbelievable coral reefs full of fish, just waiting to be explored with either snorkelling or diving equipment. You will even have the chance to learn to dive.
Your tour begins in Cairo with a visit to the Great Pyramids and Sphinx at Gisa, as well as a trip to the sprawling and world famous Egyptian Museum. You will then fly to Aswan to begin your fishing adventure of a lifetime.
Your fishing will start from Aswan dam; from here you will make your way up the lake with all the fuel, food and water you require for the full length of your tour. This tour is a safari in the truest meaning of the term. You are living it by camping on your boat literally miles away from any civilization. The stars become your ceiling with a step behind the rocks to
your bathroom. Within 2 hours you are out of mobile phone signal, no television, or radio and no electricity. Just you, your fellow anglers and guides completely at one with Mother Nature for the rest of your tour. What awaits you is pure nature and heaven, you can fish as hard or as little as you like.
After finishing your fishing we transfer you back to Aswan for an evening flight to Luxor. Here you take time to visit the west bank of the Nile with a trip to the Valley of the Kings, where the tombs of numerous Pharaohs lay concealed in the desert hills. You also have a chance to spend time exploring the majestic Luxor Temple, and the vast Karnak Temple.
Leaving Luxor behind we take you on the short drive to the resort town of Hurghada. Here you have a couple of days to relax on the beautiful, sandy beaches and swim in the warm blue waters of the Red Sea. You can just soak up the sun or if you feel more energetic there are plenty of things to do to keep you busy - take a trip into the desert on a jeep or camel safari, try some scuba diving or snorkelling on the stunning, coral reefs, or perhaps an excursion to the nearby monasteries of St Pauls and St Anthony’s.
A short flight brings you back to Cairo where your tour ends the following morning with a transfer back to the airport.
