• Day trip to Petra - UK£200

This is a long but exciting and rewarding day trip from Dahab to the fabulous & colourful rock-carved city of Petra in Jordan. You leave Dahab very early (around 05.00am) and drive to Taba (approx. 3 hours) or a short 1-hour ferry to Aqaba in Jordan (no visa fee for most nationalities). Then it is another drive (approx. 1 1/2 hrs) into the mountains and the city of Petra. We include a half day inside the site, including a 2 1/2-hour guided tour, lunch, entrance fees, and some free time to walk up to the High Place of Sacrifice or the Monastery with its huge carved facade and stunning views over the Jordan valley. We then make the drive & ferry crossing back to Dahab, arriving late in the evening. Note: The option price is based on doing this option on a sharing basis with other travellers not booked with Egypt Uncovered. We can also run the tour privately for you, but for a higher price - please contact us for details if required.

• Single Supplement - UK£0

This option guarantees you a single room in all the hotels throughout the tour. Triple rooms are not generally available on this tour, so if you have an odd number of travellers in your party we will normally need to add this option to your booking. Couples will always be given a private double room. Please contact us if you have any questions about room allocations for your party.
Note - Prices shown are for the Egyptian low-season of May to September - higher supplements may be required during high & peak seasons. These prices are shown on our online reservation form and are also available on request.

• Extra Night in Cairo pre-tour - 4-star - UK£35

This option adds an extra night to the start of your tour, staying in the same hotel as the main tour itself (subject to availability at the time of booking). Your airport arrival transfer is still included.

• Extra Night in Cairo post-tour - 3-star - UK£25

This option adds an extra night in Cairo to the end of your tour, staying in a 3-star hotel. Your departure airport transfer is included. If you would like to add more than one extra night, please make a note when you make your reservation and we will add them to your booking.
