Cairo is one of the world's great cities, and is now home to over 20 million people, and what can feel like nearly as many cars. Home to the Pyramids and Sphinx and the world famous Egyptian Museum, and with the mighty River Nile running through it, Cairo has some hugely impressive and important attractions to visit. In our Cairo city break tours we also like to take you out of the city to nearby Alexandria, or Wadi Rayan and the Valley of the Whales. Accommodation options range from city centre 3-star hotels to the luxury Oberoi Mena House hotel, right at the foot of the pyramids.
This short break is based in the luxurious Oberoi Mena House hotel, right at the foot of the pyramids in Cairo and tours the stunning Gisa Pyramids and Sphinx, and also to the unique step pyramid at Saqqara. We also visit the Citadel and Coptic Cairo and the mazy bazaars of Old Cairo as well as the vast Egyptian museum. The tour ends with a full day excursion to nearby Alexandria.
This is a simple & short city break tour which gives you the chance to experience the many delights Cairo has to offer in just 4 days. You'll visit the Pyramids, the Sphinx and Saqqara, and take a fully guided tour of the city, including the famous Egyptian Museum. A dinner cruise on the Nile with traditional Sufi & belly dancing displays makes a great end to this short tour of Cairo.
