Introduction:

The Hurghada Marriott hotel is a large modern resort style hotel set right on the beach with its own private island. It has all the facilities of a five star hotel including two large outdoor pools, a health club, dive centre and a number of bars and restaurants offering a variety of dining styles. The resort offers a wide range of leisure activities and children’s facilities making it an ideal choice for families. The high levels of service within the hotel and its beach side location make this one of our first choice hotels for stays in Hurghada on our luxury rated small group tours and for private and tailor made trips.

Location:

The resort is located right beside the Red Sea on the outskirts of Hurghada. The resort centre of Hurghada with its shops, bars and restaurants is within easy reach (approx 20 mins walk). The hotel is situated 4 miles west of Hurghada International Airport and is only a 15 minute drive away.

Accommodation:

The resort has 283 rooms and suites located on six floors. All the rooms have a private balcony or terrace with views of the Red Sea and have either one king size or two twin beds. The rooms are spacious and modern and are comfortably furnished to a high standard.

The rooms are equipped with lots of amenities including en-suite bathroom with bath tub and shower, air-conditioning, satellite TV and mini-bar.

There are also tea making facilities, hair dryers and internet access in all rooms along with electrical sockets for charging phones, cameras and laptops. Non-smoking rooms and disabled rooms are available on request.

Bars & Restaurants:

The main hotel restaurant is the Shorouk and is open for buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner, serving a variety of international dishes with different themed buffets every evening. There are two restaurants within the hotel which are open for dinner only, and these are the Island Bar & Grill which is located on the private island and the Ristorante Tuscany which offers fine Italian dining whilst enjoying views of the Red Sea.

The Armadillo Bar & Grill which is located by the pool and the Patio Café are both open throughout the day for light meals, snacks and drinks. There is also an internet café within the hotel where you can enjoy fresh baked cakes and pastries while surfing the net. The Sunshine bar and Lobby Lounge both offer a selection of drinks, quick snacks and refreshments and have happy hours for beer and cocktails daily. The perfect place to end the evening is in the Sunset bar which offers a wide range of international drinks and cocktails along with regular evening entertainment.

Facilities & Services:

The resort offers a wide range of facilities and recreational activities including two outdoor swimming pools one of which is heated in the winter, volley ball, tennis and squash courts. There is a health club and spa with a fully equipped gym, Jacuzzi, sauna and steam room offering a range of beauty treatments and massage. The resort has a marina, watersports and dive centre which offers jet skiing, sailing and snorkelling as well as scuba diving courses and equipment hire.

For children there is a separate children’s pool, an outdoor play area and kids club with TV and toys.
