The capital cities of Cairo, Amman and Damascus all have rich histories and a wealth of ancient historic sites and attractions to explore, none more so of course than the pyramids and sphinx at Gisa on the outskirts of Cairo. We can run short breaks in all of these cities, and customise them to fit around your available time and flights, also taking into account whether you would like a full, busy sightseeing itinerary, or more free time built in. Accommodation options are also varied, and include beautiful converted old merchant houses in Damascus, spa hotels by the Dead Sea just outside Amman, and luxury 5-star hotels built around former palaces in Cairo.

This short break is based in the luxurious Oberoi Mena House hotel, right at the foot of the pyramids in Cairo and tours the stunning Gisa Pyramids and Sphinx, and also to the unique step pyramid at Saqqara. We also visit the Citadel and Coptic Cairo and the mazy bazaars of Old Cairo as well as the vast Egyptian museum. The tour ends with a full day excursion to nearby Alexandria.
